The exhibition about Congo was originally set up in Brussels in connection with a diplomatic visit from the King of Congo. However, the exhibition became such a great success that it was made permanent and later expanded with artifacts from other African countries. At the museum, visitors can see animals, plants, ethnographic objects, geological explanations, and items from Central Africa. The museum offers a wonderful introduction to the African continent, both from a scientific and a cultural perspective.
