Itinerary

Fiji Escape to Paradise

Day 1 - Modriki Island (Friday)

Set sail from Port Denarau and cruise to the sandy beaches of Modriki Island, famously featured in the Tom Hanks film Cast Away. Enjoy a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and canapes before tonight's Captain's Welcome Dinner, accompanied by live entertainment from our talented singing and guitar-playing crew!

Day 2 - Soso Bay (Saturday)

Spend the morning swimming with reef sharks (weather permitting). In the afternoon, visit the chiefly village of Soso, followed by afternoon tea on the beach. Dinner tonight is a traditional Indian Thali, with Bollywood dancing and movies to follow.

Day 3 - Naukacuvu Island (Sunday)

Sunday is a day of rest in Fiji. After breakfast, attend a village church service. We cruise south to the beautiful Naukacucu and Narara Islands as you enjoy a traditional Sunday roast. Join the Chef for today's Fijian cooking lesson and make the traditional dish ‘Kokoda'. Tonight's buffet has a range of dishes from Fiji along with a choice of European dishes. There is Bingo ‘Fiji style' after dinner with lots of laughs and some good prizes, or you can enjoy a quiet nightcap at the bar.

Day 4 - Yalobi Bay (Monday)

Admire the stunning Sacred Islands and the volcanic formations of neighboring Waya Lailai. Spend the day swimming, snorkelling, and relaxing on the beach. Watch the chef demonstrate the making of the traditional Roti in Lolo dish. In the evening, enjoy an à la carte Captain's Dinner.

Day 5 - Blue Lagoon (Tuesday

Visit the famed Blue Lagoon and our private island. Swim ashore from the vessel or take a tender boat to shore, where a full bar awaits. Optional activities include snorkelling, fish feeding, non-motorised water sports, water aerobics, and volleyball. Enjoy a buffet lunch, afternoon tea, and a traditional Lovo dinner cooked underground under the stars, followed by a Meke performance by local villagers.

Day 6 - Sawa-I-Lau (Wednesday)

Take an easy 40-minute guided walk for panoramic views of the Blue Lagoon. Lunch is served on board before cruising north for a private guided visit to the Sawa-I-Lau Caves. Visit the village of Tamasua for a Yaqona (Kava) ceremony, a guided walk, a shell market, and a village-style dinner. Return on board for a movie under the stars on the Sun Deck (weather permitting).

Tonight we anchor at Sawa-I-Lau Island.

Day 7 - Drawaqa Island (Thursday)

Visit a local island school (during school terms) before heading to Drawaqa Island. A marine biologist joins for a presentation on local marine life and volunteer conservation work. Optional activities include snorkelling with manta rays (May-October) or a guided reef snorkel. Dinner is a Sun Deck BBQ under the stars, followed by a lively Fijian-style celebration.

Day 8 - Return to Port Denarau

Enjoy breakfast as we cruise back to Port Denarau. Upon arrival, be serenaded with the traditional farewell song Isa Lei by the crew, marking the end of your Yasawa Islands adventure.

Gratuities

Blue Lagoon Cruises Ltd proudly sponsors and supports the charitable organisation ‘Vinaka Fiji Trust' and the excellent work it does in the villages of the Yasawa Islands. Rather than a gratuity payment, Blue Lagoon Cruises Ltd will automatically add a donation to ‘Vinaka Fiji Trust' to your account at the end of your stay. Guests will have the chance to decline it or alter the amount. The donation amounts that will be shown will be FJD$100 per cabin for 3 & 4 night cruise guests or FJD$150 per cabin for 7 night cruise guests.

Cruising Schedule
Once a week the MV. Fiji Princess departs Port Denarau for her voyage into the enchanting Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. Operating from late April 2026, MV. Yasawa Princess II departs Port Denarau for her voyage into the enchanting Yasawa Islands. While you may travel on either the 32-cabin MV. Fiji Princess or the 22-cabin MV. Yasawa Princess II, both offer the same stunning destinations, all-inclusive experiences, and warm Fijian hospitality so your cruise experience will be just as unforgettable, whichever ship you're on.

Cabins are allocated upon guest check-in only. We can't guarantee a particular cabin or deck preference; however, we will certainly do our best to accommodate any specific requests. Single cabins: There are a limited number of single cabins available on each cruise. Confirmation is subject to availability.

Cruise Preparation:
Blue Lagoon Cruises caters to people of all ages and fitness levels. However, you do need to have a good enough level of mobility to make your way up and down staircases between each deck. While getting in and out of the tender boats can require a certain degree of mobility, the crew will tailor shore landings to suit, and there's nothing wrong with staying on board for those who would prefer to relax and enjoy the scenery. On or off the ship, the Blue Lagoon Cruises team will ensure that you have a truly memorable experience.

Accommodation Onboard MV. Yasawa Princess II
MV. Yasawa Princess II has 22 air-conditioned cabins accommodating up to 44 guests. Each cabin features an en suite, storage space, mini fridge, a hair dryer, soft towels, and bathroom amenities. All cabins are above the waterline and feature expansive windows with ocean views.

The Orchid Deck is situated on two levels. The Lower Deck has 11 Orchid Cabins (approximately 14.5sqm/156 sq ft in size); with either one queen bed or twin single beds. The Middle Deck has 9 Orchid Cabins (all approximately 14.5 sqm/156 sq ft in size) with either one queen bed or twin single beds.

The Hibiscus Deck
The Middle Deck has 2 Hibiscus Cabins (all approximately 14.5 sqm/156 sq ft in size) with either one queen bed or twin single beds.

Each cabin features a yacht-style en suite, storage space, TV for in-room movies, a vanity table, a hair dryer, soft towels, and bathroom amenities. All cabins are above the waterline and feature windows with ocean views.

The Orchid Deck is situated on two levels. 12 cabins on the Upper Deck and 16 cabins on the Middle Deck; averaging 13sqm (142 sq ft). 21 cabins with a queen bed and 7 cabins with either one queen or two single beds.

The Hibiscus Deck
The Hibiscus Deck sits below the Orchid Deck, but still has windows well above the water-line with gorgeous views. Situated on the same deck as the Saloon, it has 6 cabins (4 cabins with queen beds and 2 cabins with either queen or twin single beds), averaging 11 square meters in size.

Local transport

Complimentary transfers are offered Pre Cruise. Requests must be booked directly with Blue Lagoon Cruises reservations. Pick up time will be confirmed at the time of booking request.
Fllight arrival details must be provided for airport-Port Denarau transfers. The driver will be holding passenger name card for Meet & Greet in arrivals area ast customs exit point at Nadi International Airport.

Check-in and Departure
Please check-in at Port Denarau. Upon arrival you will be directed to Blue Lagoon Cruises check-in counter.
Check-in is open from 13:30 until 14:30.
Departs Port Denarau every Friday at 15:00 on the ship*
Returns to Port Denarau every Friday at 10:00 on a South Sea Cruises vessel

Transfers are also available from Mamanuca Island Resorts to the ship.

*Blue Lagoon Cruises reserves the right to change the vessel for individual departure dates as needed.

Tea, coffee, and filtered water are included and available all day long. Other beverages are excluded. Meals are a mixture of European and Fijian fare showcasing the best local produce. Additional info

Dress code:
The dress code is casual and informal, even at dinner. We encourage our guests to wear what they feel comfortable in and to leave their dinner jackets and high heels at home. For those wanting to visit villages for cultural reasons, we do ask that men wear a sulu (provided in your cabin) and women dress modestly with shoulders and knees covered.
