Get be picked up at your accommodation in order to depart to Acatenango Volcano and start the hiking. Reach the camp after 5 hours. Along the way there will be several stops for rest, hydration and have some food.
Transfer to La Soledad and hiking Acatenango to the campsite (L,D)
Today at 9:00 you will be picked up at your accommodation in order to depart to Acatenango Volcano.
After an hour and a half, we will be arriving at La Soledad, where we will check our equipment, review the entire trip, clear any doubts, and you will also be receiving your lunch/food before starting the hiking at 11:00 Hrs.
At 13:00 we will stop to have lunch and keep walking for a few hours more until we arrive at the camp. There are approximately 5 hours of walking to reach the camp, along the way there will be several stops for rest, hydration and have some food.
Around 16:00, we will arrive at the camp, we will set up our camping, chill out and make bonfires enjoying the top of the volcano. At 19:00, we will have dinner and finish the day, so we can rest enough for our early start tomorrow.
SUGGESTED PACKING LIST: head torch, two pairs of socks or stockings, raincoat according to the season of the year, chocolate, nuts, sweets, energy drink or coke if possible, extra snacks, three liters of water per person (minimum), sunscreen, hat, toilet paper, fruit with potassium, alcohol gel, an extra change of clothes, backpack of 40 liters, comfortable boots or shoes for hiking.
